WELCOME BACK ,,, First thing's first, I'd like to extend a warm welcome back to all of our old members. It's been a while, but we admin have finally gotten our groove on and made the forum look at least partially acceptable. You'll probably notice that there's a lot of changes, including new canons, a new wizarding college and spiffing new graphics. Something else you'll notice is that all of the posts, applications and relationship plots have gone, but don't worry, we'll come to those in a minute.
Now, Leaving Autumn is fast approaching it's third year on the internet, which I personally think is a pretty exceptional accomplishment. These days forums seem to be propping up and dying out just as quickly, but somehow LA seems to have stood the test of time. Thankfully, we have you wonderful members to thank for that and if it wasn't for you then this place wouldn't be what it is. I think what makes this place work so effortlessly is that we have so many kind, warm and welcoming members drifting throughout our forum every day. That's one of the reasons that we admin refuse to ever let the place die out, because it would be shame to lose so many wonderful role-players.
With the revamp, what we're hoping will happen is that all of you old members will simply jump right back in and pick up where you left off. We have new staff on hand to help with this, and hopefully we can get things up to speed for all of you as quickly as possible. There are one or two small things that I have to ask of you however, which I'm hoping won't be too much of a problem for you all. If you do have any issues then feel free to send me a PM, or just find the details for the 'LIVE ASSISTANCE' account and I'll talk to you on there. Everyone is welcome to use that as much as they like, it's what it was made for so don't feel too scared to ask any questions.
The things I'm asking of you are pretty minimal and should take no more than five to ten minutes to do. I know it's a pain, but even the admin are doing it, so you're not all in this alone I assure you.
Because of the revamp, the staff have decided that it would be appropriate to say that a year has gone by in character. Which basically means that all of your students, professors, etc will have grown older by one year. Yes, this does mean that all year seven students will have graduated. (although, if your character was fairly new before the revamp, or you just don't want to graduate them yet, let me know and I can sort something out for you, provided it doesn't make too much of a difference to things.) So, I will be needing everyone to make a few small adjustments to their old applications.
As you can see, a new application template has been devised, and I would be very grateful if everyone could use it when they re-post their applications. There aren't many new sections to fill out, and it's a great deal more simple than our previous efforts, so it shouldn't cause any trouble whatsoever. In fact all that really needs doing is copying and pasting all of your old information into the new template, adding in the extra year of your character's life, and re-posting it. Simple, no? All old members will be re-accepted without question, so no one needs to worry about having to prove themselves all over again. We wouldn't do that to you people.
So, for all those of you who'll definitely be joining us again here on LA and would like a link to their old applications, simply fill in the form below and reply to this thread. A member of staff will send you a PM with a link to all of the applications you require, and then you should be good to go. If you require any extra assistance then just let me know or just grab me on msn at;;

IN HIGH DEMAND ,,,
What with there being quite a demand for links to old applications, I've decided it's probably best that I post a link up in here for you all so that you can access the old applications as and when you need to. They're in alphabetical order, going from Z through to A, so just skip around a couple pages and you're bound to find your application eventually. Alternatively, if you click on your name in the control panel, after the little bit that says "Logged in as:", you will find an option which says "Find all topics by this member", click that and you'll find a link to all of the topic you've ever created, including your application. Click on it, and there you go!! But here's a link anyway for those of you who want one;;
